Bland Sandwich

unbelievably, my toasted cheddar, jalapeño and tomato sandwich was bland.

the cheddar wasn't sharp, the jalapeños were maybe a little vinagary but not hot and the tomatoes were mealy winter tomatoes.

let me tell you, [and by 'you' i mean, you, my dear readers], that a sandwich where the boring dipping mayonnaise on the side is the most interesting part of the sandwich is a bland sandwich indeed.
