The Blue Man

the blue man has new shoes. blue new shoes. light blue new shoes. i saw them at the corner, near the subway stop. the blue man lives on the ground floor of my building. in the summer he wears blue skin-tight polyester shorts that show EVERYTHING, with a short sleeve blue polyester top artfully unzipped to show his greying chest hair. in the fall, the blue polyester shorts turn into blue polyester pants. in the winter, a blue knit sweater joins the outfit. and this spring, new shoes. and when i say blue i mean one blue, a light greyish blue. except for the shoes. they were light blue. the blue man is a little disconcerting.
