Two households, both alike in dignity
this is how i tell i'm getting more and more involved in my new job. i dream that i am evaluating two identical web services that do absolutely nothing. nothing. and i have to select one of them to use.
then when i wake up i think of shakespeare. which, as far as i can tell, has nothing to do with getting involved with work.
most dreams are weird. you hardly ever hear someone say "i had this really normal dream last night..." occasionally it is immediately obvious what your subconscious was processing. other times it is more obscure. recently i've been more aware of my first thought or feeling when waking up from a dream. sometimes it's simply a continuation of the dream mood. sometimes it's a sudden association. like quoting shakespeare to yourself to describe a situation.

"i had this really normal dream" is a great concept. i always wanted to have someone in a film say "i had this dream which was so terribly boring that i actually fell asleep in my sleep so then i was 2nd degree asleep and dreamed a dream that was even duller than the first one" and so on.
that is a fun idea. i love recursion. open a storybook, step into the story where you find another book which you step into where you find another book...
Recursion IS fun!
And so elegant (in a proof or a program).
Unfortunately, this comment doesn't have any recursvie nature. :(
Your 'blog makes me want to start a 'blog called "Kevin In Toronto". It could be about my travels to Toronto and all the capers and troubles that I'd get into! Then our 'blogs could recurse... I could refer to your 'blog... yous could refer to mine (as it now already does because of this comment!). Wouldn't it be great fun?
