Woody Allen
it occured to me recently that i really found woody allen films boring when i was younger. now i quite like them. i'm off to the movies or "kino" this evening shortly, perhaps to see "scoop". it hasn't yet been decided exactly which movie. if i get back before midnight i'll make a second post saying how i liked it.

I only noticed now that you have been leaving everything uncaptialized for a while now! You do, at least, have punctuation, so I will not use the e e cummings comment.
Are you doing this intentionally so as to not accidentally capitalize all nouns?
oh no! I have locked myself out of my car, my parent's house, my basement apartment (requiring some breaking and entering), my cousin's apartment in Montreal (requiring waking up her mother-in-law, an old chinese lady, at 2am in the morning!). BUT I have always made it back in. I hope you did too!
kevin - i just like the was it looks.
anonymous - my neighbour in berlin has a spare key, he went into my apartment and got my keys and has shipped them to me. i'll get them tomorrow. in the meantime, a friend of mine is kindly putting me up for a couple of nights.
bex and i locked ourselves out of our runnymede apartment about a half a dozen times in our 3 years there... we never had to resort to b&e since our landlord lived about 5 minutes away.
one time, we left our keys with our downstairs neighbours while we left town for a week, so that they could feed the cats. during the week, they accidentally locked the keys in the apartment, and were so worried about the cats that they kicked the door in (before remembering that they could have just called the landlord).
oops, anonymous was me, gina. i switched my blogger account to the google version and it makes signing in less straightforward!
My most dismaying key-screwup was when I locked my keys in the car.
It wasn't dismaying because it was hard to get them back; it was dismaying that it was so easy.
Call a guy, he shows up with a handheld tool that is capable, inside of a minute, of creating a new key for my car.
Such tools are too powerful for mortals to wield.
