All's Well That Ends Well

my keys arrived today at work in a carefully wrapped package. immediately i felt better although i hadn't been feeling terrible, mostly tired and distracted. this whole little ordeal hasn't really been the ordeal it could have been. a friend of mine, niki, from tae kwon do and her boyfriend put me up for two nights. it was a bit like a sleep over - their flat is tiny tiny tiny. last night we even ordered in thai and watched a movie. my neighbour in berlin, lars, got my key and got them in the mail sehr schnell. on monday night jessica looked up hotels for me when it looked like i didn't have anywhere to stay. i had my bag of clothes that i laundered on the weekend.

many thanks to everyone. thanks also for the "i also locked myself out" comments and stories. it certainly helps relieve the feeling of ineptitude.

now i've showered in my own apartment, have my own pyjamas on and am about to crawl into my bed. sleep tight!
