Motivated

on monday my boss took us out for a motivational round at the bergkirchweih in erlangen. it's the second largest beerfestival in germany after oktoberfest. a couple of the people we went with, colleagues of colleagues, didn't speak german so we ended up speaking a lot of english. it was probably the first time i've spoken english at length in front of my boss. at some point into our maß he turns to me and says in german:

"you speak twice as fast in english as in german."

"i know. i also think i'm funnier in english."

"yeah, that too."
