This is so late that I'm pretty sure nobody will ever see it, but hey;
The idea of Nuremberg as the "Sausages and Gingerbread" city strikes me as very funny; they do know that they're kidding themselves if they think anybody outside of Germany will ever think of them as anything but the "War Crimes Tribunal city" right?
Hiroshima and Nagasaki are the same way here in Japan; most Japanese people give puzzled frowns when EVERY foreigner they meet expresses a desire to visit one or the other. Pretty much nobody in Japan feels a burning desire to visit Hiroshima. I had to explain to my friends that unfortunately, the nuclear bombs place them among the most famous cities in Japan after Tokyo and... maybe Kyoto?
