Yeah, I really liked that post as well. Definitely some resonated with me as well. Though I've been trying to compose my own list, mentally. Sometimes I think that my thoughts so far are too specific. Like - Number 3. It's ok to leave Eng Sci and do something more fun. :)
You know, I think I'd like to add that Mighty Girl is one of my favorites. I know lots of folk think that her brand of 'inspriational writing' or whatnot is kind cheesy. But I know that she's fantastic. I would like to be her when I grow up. (she's probably younger than me. sigh)

oh, i hear you.
and yeah her brand of inspiration is kind of cheesy but i really like the "enjoy your life, cease the day, you are wonderful" attitude. i like it at a distance anyway. :)
I've seen her site before but didn't subscribe. (My list is already way too long). This is a great post though! I may drop in a few more times and reconsider. I have to seriously pare down the list though before I go back to work.
I don't think I was put off by the positivity, I think I was put off by what appeared to be a heavy fashion/design focus. I seem to recall a longish blurb on Attachment Parenting that put me off too, but I could be misremembering.
I would totally rewrite #20. (I'm not directing this at you guys, I just don't feel like commenting at the original post, 'cuz I'm not a regular.)
20. Enjoy your body. Odds are you’re more beautiful now than you will be again. Ask your roommate.
Mine would be:
20. Enjoy your body. Odds are you’re more beautiful and HEALTHY and STRONG now than you will be again. This also goes for your parents. Do cool stuff with them now, before they're feeble or gone.

5 and 18 are speaking to me more now at 35 than they would have at 20.
5 is a tough one.
